All About Green Valley, Tubac & Sahuarita 

Green Valley is located approximately twenty miles south of Tucson, Arizona.  It's daily temperature averages 80 degrees with an average low of 50 degrees with the elevation at 2900'.   The weather tends to be cooler than that of Phoenix or Tucson. This makes for a mild sunny climate, ideal for any outdoor activity.   Such activities include hiking, horse back riding, swimming, golfing and biking. 

The topography of the land is gently rolling with the Santa Rita Mountains as a majestic backdrop.   It has become one of Arizona's greatest places to retire.  With several larger communities nearby,  there is always something to do without sacrificing small town living. 

Tubac is 16 miles south of Green Valley and is rich in Spanish Colonial tradition.  There is a quaint art colony in the center of town that offers several boutiques, shops and restaurants with a southwestern flair.  Tubac attracts many arizona visitors who are looking for a scenic day trip.
